Who wants to go on a Safari? The Handsomest Safari Nursery Around!

As a mom of young children, I know a safari just isn't quite in the cards for me. Would I love to go? Heck yes!

But am I going to go? Nope

Its a little bit modern with the arrow and elephant prints, but its a little bit rustic with the rag quilting technique

The crib skirt is made in a coordinating mint with a gathered crib skirt featuring the elephants and a mint print.

Even the ruffle curtains go along perfectly with the crib set and nursery

This quilt has been one of my absolute favorites! I have done it in several different color schemes

Pink

Green

Blue

Gray

But never yellow

Yep....weird, I know!.

Never, have I ever done Yellow

So my question for you today is:

I think I might be one of the only moms dreading my kiddos leaving me and going back to school for the year.

I know, I know....They aren't really leaving me cause they will be coming home from school every afternoon, but then again we have to wake up early the next morning and then they will leave me all over again.

I love these cute Deer Silhouette Car Seat Tents. I am not a hunter, my husband is, but I always try to avoid any and all hunting related decorating and clothing. Camo....Not my think. Deer heads on the wall (also known as Mounts {I Think}) definitely not included in my regular decor.

But this deer silhouette is definitely a favorite of mine. I don't know why, but I just really like it! So maybe there can be common ground between my husband and I with hunting. Ok, probably not.

This has been one of my most popular rag quilt designs. It doesn't seem to matter which color I combine with the gray it results in a stunning and modern quilt for boys and girls. I love every single one of them!

Today, the combination is gray and navy blue. I love the harsh contrast between dark and light!

I just adore how this quilt turned out!

I used this rag quilt pattern, but for the longhorn silhouette I printed off a longhorn picture and cut out the fabric pieces using that picture. Then I raw edge stitched them on just like the footballs
