Favorite Etsy Tool for Editing Listings & More

After selling on etsy for the last 16 years, I have been around the block.

In many ways....

I made it through the Covid Bubble of online sales skyrocketing.

I made it through the Covid bubble burst of online sales sinking further than the toilet.

I made it through 3 babies, and raising 5 kids.

I made it through many hard years of bootstrapping and late nights.

I made it through working through naps and any extra second I could find.

I made it through intense years of competitive dance, where time was just as hard to find as when they were tiny.

But here I am, 16+ years later.

A happy Etsy seller with more shops than I know what to do with.

I've got a shop for almost everything.

Its just kinda how it evolved over the years.

I have a shop for quilts

a shop for fabric

a shop for rag quilt patterns

a shop to share my love of Jesus Christ through reminders of heaven

a shop for my favorite United States of America

a shop for random craft projects

a shop for barn quilt kits

a shop featuring holiday decor

and a full of my favorite SVG designs that I have created.

 Whew....that is a mouth full.

But what I have found over the years, is that I am just as busy today as I was when they were little and I was searching for any spare minute I could find

I am dividing my attention between way too many shops for one brain to comprehend at a time (even though it evolved slowly over time.

But as I have grown, I have found ways to manage too many shops.

One of my absolute favorite ways to manage all of these shops is a website called

Listadum

Now...don't get me wrong. I did just include an affiliate link to Listadum. But that isn't why I am sharing with you today.

I am sharing with you today because it has helped me streamline having so many etsy shops.

I am sharing with you today in the hopes that it helps you, even if you only have 1 shop.

I am sharing with you today, but I want listadum to be the top Etsy Help App out there.

I am sharing with you today, because I had a meeting with the creator of Listadum, but only after I had used the software for several months.

The software had proven to me that it was very useful, and so I met with the creator.

Let me tell you guys...he is in the trenches. He uses etsy as a seller. He knows what it is like and he knows what is helping to make his shop better.

But if I haven't convinced you guys yet to at least take a look...here are my top reasons why I always have Listadum tab open on my web browser:

  1. I get a score on the listings:
    1.  The scoring system helps me to know where I can put my efforts to get my listings top notch. It tells me if my graphics are too small, it tells me if my description is missing words from the tags, it tells me if my title is missing key keyword phrases, it tells me about 10 other things too.
  2. I get a score on my shop:
    1. The score on my shop helps me to track my progress. What was my beginning score on some of my shops? Sub 80%. Whoops. But with Listadums help I am getting them all above a 90% and some are even closing in on 100%. This percentage doesn't indicate how well the listing is performing but it tells me overall how well built my listings are.
  3. Keywords/Tags Get a Score
    1. The keywords/tags that I use each get a score. I can see, based on the results listadum has access to, if the tag is in high demand and low competition area or if it is in high competition and low demand and everywhere in between. They even are color coded for easy picking.
  4. The listings have stats beyond what Etsy gives easy access to:
    1. A few of the things that I love to check, and in turn helps me to know which listings could use extra help is on the listings page. I can refine the stats based on all time, the last 30 days, and the last 7 days. The stats it provides include total views/listing, average daily views, the number and $ of sales for that listing, as well as the conversion rate, how many favorites, and the favorite ratio.
      1. all of these stats help me to make decisions on what to do with each listing based on the time frame that I want to measure. I typically don't like to touch a listing that has sold in the last 30 days, so I often will filter based on that time frame. Then I go through and find any listings that have issues and go from there.
      2.
  5.  The different areas of my etsy shop are divided by what has the highest impact, medium impact, and low impact to my shop. Giving me a good idea of what I should work on to make the biggest impact. I try to follow the 80/20 rule as much as I can as I structure my day. This helps me to know exactly what to do.

These are just a few of the way that I have been using Listadum to help me throughout my workday in editing 8 different Etsy shops. I hope that it helps you too!
